Spoiler: it's all just me, and it was about time I created a website that showcases all my passions and offerings.
Let’s start from the beginning: who am I?
My name is Myriam. I am French but I haven’t lived in France since 2013. In fact, I didn’t live anywhere from 2013 to 2022, when I finally settled in Denver, USA. I spent half of those nine years of nomadic life on my own, and the other half with my partner. Throughout these many adventures, I wrote two books, published by the French publishing house la Mêsonetta in June 2012 and March 2023, and pulled myself out of serious eating disorders and emotional dysregulation. Years during which I danced with street musicians in about ten different countries, threw myself into burlesque while everything I owned fit in a 40L backpack, and posed for many photographers around the world . This website is therefore built around three main pillars: live performance, writing and modeling.
In the performer section you will find my work as a burlesque dancer, but also a fire performer and even a stilt walker. In the author section you will find my books, but also a presentation of my method “Conjuring your Avatar,” which is a writing and dance therapy process I developed throughout the writing of my trilogy Solla-Rose: The Lifesaving Amnesia.
